Worship at Highland Park Presbyterian Church

The people, of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, gather together to worship God, on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.

Worship Services Include:

Children's Message when children gather around the pastor for a worship experience in which the spiritual needs of children and recognized and acknowledged.             

Sunday School is provided for Pre-K - 5th graders following the Children's Message or children may stay in Worship.          

Sermons which relate scripture to the challenges and blessings of contemporary life.

Music which incorporates both traditional and contemporary compositions.  Soloists, small vocal groups, and instrumental musicians frequently participate in our worship.

Congregational participation in worship leadership, hymns, prayers, reading of scripture and dramatic skits and readings.

A Fellowship Hour follows our worship and provides informal time for our church family to meet and greet one another with coffee, tea and wonderful baked goods.

The congregation gathers throughout the Church Year for special services of worship such as Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Christmas Eve.

Baptism of both infants and adults is practiced. Baptism information may be obtained by contacting the church office or the pastor.

Holy Communion is celebrated about ten times a year.  Anyone who confesses faith in Jesus Christ is invited to partake of this sacrament. In the Presbyterian Church, children are welcomed to the Lord's Table with the guidance and permission of their parents.
